Need a Spanish certificate translated?

Korean and Spanish-speaking-country institutions generally won't accept a plain translation of a certificate — they require either a 번역자확인서 (translator confirmation, which anyone can issue) or, where the receiving institution specifically asks for it, a 번역확인증명서 (translation verification certificate), which only a licensed translation administrative agent registered for that exact language can issue. A translator certified in another language, or an unlicensed translation company, cannot legally issue one for Spanish.

Who needs this

Anyone submitting a short Korean certificate to a Spanish-speaking-country institution, or a Spanish-language certificate to a Korean one — visa applicants, students, employees relocating for work, and family members handling civil-registry paperwork. If the receiving office is in Spain, Mexico, Colombia, Peru, or another Spanish-speaking country, it likely requires a certificate translated by someone specifically registered to certify Spanish, not simply "a translator."

Typical timeline

Short certificates like these are usually the fastest documents we handle — often ready within a few business days once we've confirmed the price and reviewed the original. Deadline crunches around visa or admissions season can extend this slightly, so sending the document early is better than waiting until a submission deadline is close.

Common mistakes

• Submitting a translation from someone not registered for Spanish — institutions can reject these after the fact
• Assuming a 번역자확인서 is enough when the institution actually wants a 번역확인증명서
• Waiting until the last minute when notarization or apostille steps still need to follow

Pricing

Certificate translation starts at ₩38,500 (VAT included) — final price depends on document length and deadline. Payment is by bank transfer; a receipt is issued once confirmed.
